This is intended for electricians/installers only
In this article we provide information on how to:
- Create an organisation
- Add chargers
- Add measurement device
- Create a load balancing (LB) group
- Import chargers
- Setup chargers
- Activate load balancing
The following list is what you need to create a load balancing:
- Customer and contact details.
- Serial number and PIN code/WiFi password for the charger. You can find this in the paperwork that comes with the charger. (If for some reason you do not have access to these, you can create a request to the support and refer to the serial number on the bottom of the charger).
- Serial number of the power monitor on the box or on the back of the device (S/N).
- PIN/WiFi password can be found on the bottom of the Amp Guarden (Password: ********).
The password consists of 8 digits.
Then log in to my.charge.space/partner
Create an organisation
Start by creating an organisation. An organisation is the place where you have installed our products. For example, a private individual, a community centre or a company. You do this by going to "Organisations" in the menu bar and pressing "CREATE". Then fill in as much information as possible so that you can easily find and contact your customers if necessary.
Add chargers
Once you have created an organisation, it will be listed under Organisations.
Then press the "Go to" button. You will then open a new window and end up in the admin interface (my.charge.space/admin) "Charging admin".
Once in the admin portal, click on "Charger" in the menu bar.
Then press "ADD". Then enter the serial number and password for the charging box and press "OK".
After that, you have done everything that needs to be done in the Admin interface. You can now enter the partner interface again (Charging Partner).
Add measurement device
The next step is to add the measurement device (Charge Amps Amp Guard).
First click on "Power meter" in the menu bar and then on "ADD".
Fill in the Charge Amps Amp Guard's serial number (**********G) and the 8-digit pin code label on the bottom of the Charge Amps Amp Guard (Password ********).
Then select the organisation you have created.
Create a load balancing (LB) group
Now you need to create a load balancing group. You can do this under "Load balancing" in the menu and press
then click on "ADD".
Start by selecting the organisation you created under "Organisation".
Then select your circuit breaker under "Power meter" IF you have a circuit breaker, otherwise leave it alone.
leave it alone.
Then select "Type of load balancer". Here you then choose the latest software, which it is
"Standard_(highest number)".
Then fill in "Name" and "Description" which are mandatory. Preferably the same name as the
organisation and a description that makes it easier for you to find the right load balancer.
Then tick "Socket activated" and "Charger included in the measurements".
Then you write in which phases should be included in the load balancing and phase sequence under "Phases".
this is printed as "1,2,3", "3,2,1" etc NOT "3" (NOTE! IMPORTANT).
Next is "Max current per phase (AG Offline)" where you enter the same value as you previously entered.
under "Power settings" on the charger under "Load balancing Offline current limit".
After that you enter "Max current per phase (AG Online)". This is the maximum amount of amperes that
the charger may use per phase.
Next, you enter "Minimum current per charger" and this is the lowest ampere that the charger can
can start a charging session with. This is limited by the car and is usually 8A.
Lastly, we have "Max delivery current" and this is simply the main fuse of the installation.
Import chargers
What you need to do now is to import your charger(s) to the load balancer:
Press the blue "Import" button a little further down the window under "Chargers".
Then click on "Click here to import org...". The chargers that you have added to the organisation
will appear.
Tick the chargers you want to import for load balancing.
Finally, press "Import".
Setup chargers
After you have imported the chargers, a configuration box will appear where you can choose which
phases the charge box should charge on and with how many amps they should be allowed to use if they lose the connection.
connection.
Activate load balancing
Now everything is ready and the last thing you have to do is to activate the load balancing by
pressing the "Activate" button under the drop-down list of the load balancing groups.
